Because IE doesn't support XHTML, Four Island checks to see if the browser is IE and if it is, changes the Content Type to HTML. It also displays a warning at the top of the screen telling the user that their browsing experience will be much better with a better browser.

Previously, when the browser was made smaller, the sidebar and the content would overlap and look terrible.

* Rewrote quotes tracking system to be much less complicated and actually working
* Changed quotes rendering to look more like Chirpy than Rash

* Rewrote a ton of CSS so it's not as bloated
* Added a JavaScript confirmation when deleting a comment
* AJAXified voting on the POTW
* AJAXified voting and flagging quotes
* AJAXified commenting

* Added DateFinder back after it was accidentally deleted in Layout 4.5
The following database changes must be performed as soon as possible:

* Reset "flag" field of all rows in "rash_quotes" to 0
* Remove the "vote" and "flag" columns of "rash_tracking"
* Rename the "quote_id" column of "rash_tracking" to "vote"
The following external code changes must also be performed as soon as possible:
* Add the following line to the end of the // Four Island block in The Fourm's functions.php:
require('/svr/www/hatkirby/fourisland/main/includes/specialdates.php');

Now, Four Island doesn't look downright disgusting in IE, even though there are still a couple more problems to be fixed. Also, a small amount of CSS
housekeeping was done.

Previously, IE had a problem with IE 6 that made it impossible to use Four Island. The rightbar was cleared to the bottom, the posts' text were
invisible, the top-fade obscured text and The Fourm was illegiable. This has (mostly) been fixed with a conditional stylesheet. Four Island doesn't
look perfect in IE yet (and probably never will) but at least now it's usable.

Previously, the RSS feed wouldn't display because it attempted to display parsed blog posts, but the parseText() function was not defined as parsers.php was not
included.

I don't know, a lot of stuffses happened that I don't quite remember anymore. Goodness, that's not good.

Now, instead of creating bubbles using JavaScript, they are created
using the CSS3 style "border-radius" commands.

Apparently people actually do like the sixth layout. It was just me
being paranoid, they were busy over there.

Oh so many people complained at the new, pretty layout. The decision was reached in the Poll of the Week: Layout 6 had to go.

The <CITE>s of bubbles were configured to be colored yellow at night, but it should only have been done for the blog, which has no background. This
has been fixed.

There have been complaints that Four Island is hard to read in the night because all of the text is black. So, for the Blog, whoose only text that is
directly in front of the background is cite text, the cite text has been changed to yellow at night. For the rest, the 4th layout-style center
background has been added back, to greater effect with the fade-out at the top.

I still need to bring back the old backgrounds and the style sheet that
decided between them. I'll do that as soon as I can be bothered.
